1. Contact the Kura

Our Pou Manaaki (Whāea Kelly) will to guide you through the initial steps and answer any immediate questions you may have about the enrolment process.

2. Hui Tahi 

We will arrange a day and time for you to meet with our Tumuaki or a Kaiako. This is a time to discuss our kura values and ensure our learning environment is the right fit for your child.

3. Pre-enrolment form 

Following your kōrero (discussion), we will email you a 'Pre-Enrolment Form.' Please complete and return this to us; once received, we will move forward with the next stage of the application.

4. Whānau Induction Hui

You will receive an invitation to attend an induction meeting. This is a vital step in joining our community, as we will cover:

• Our Kura Values and Expectations: Understanding how we learn and grow together.

• Practical Information: Health forms, stationery requirements, uniforms, and our kura communication apps.

• Community Involvement: Discovering ways you can get involved in the life of the kura.

5. Hīkoi Day

This is an opportunity for you and your child to visit the kura in person. It’s a chance to walk the grounds, see the classrooms in action, and help your child feel comfortable in their new environment.

6. Pōwhiri!

Once the process is complete, we officially welcome you and your whānau into our kura. We look forward to learning and growing alongside you.
